04/07/22 - Weekly newsletter for Run Move Connect members!

Good evening members! We hope you have all had a great weekend and are ready for another big week of training. Thanks to all who joined us for our Social Saturday Run/walk on the weekend. I can't think of a better way to start the weekend than catching up with you all for a run/walk and coffee to finish!

This weeks only update to the timetable is that our Tuesday and Thursday strength sessions have now been moved from 9:30am to 9:00am. Please don't forget to book in for all of your running and strength sessions as soon as possible

We are looking forward to seeing everyone throughout the week, time to get moving!

This weeks running session details

Run session Tuesday 05/07/22


2 x 3 min (90s recovery between)

5 x 45s on/1:15 recovery

2 x 3 min (90s recovery between)

26:30 total - 15:45 running - 10:45 recovery

Run session Thursday 07/07/22

"2 min reps"

8 x 2 min efforts / 60s recovery between

23:00 total - 16 min running - 7:00 min recovery

**Please note, all sessions can be modified and adjusted to suit your needs and current fitness levels. Walkers and first time runners are encouraged to give these sessions a go.**

This weeks strength session notes

  • Please remember sweat towels and drink bottles!

  • All exercises will be explained in detail with demonstrations provided.

  • Aim to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to sessions starting. This will allow to time to chat with Hannah if required and to ensure we start all sessions on time.
