Hello Members New and Old,


We hope you have had a beautiful weekend and enjoyed a fun start with our social Friday event. We just want to thank everyone for coming. We can't emphasise enough how important you are all to us and we can't believe how far Run Move Connect has come and where it is going. We are creating environment that is inclusive, inviting and encouraging and we are so proud of it. It is pretty special when strangers become friends and friends become your family. I hope you are all loving it as much as us.


We are still looking for another passionate person who is invested in the health and wellbeing of their local community to join us on a casual basis. The successful candidate will be required to oversee strength sessions and running sessions. Social Saturday recap


Another great turn out for our social Saturday 5k run/walk group. Thanks to all who came along. This run is not only for our RMC members but also available for anyone from the community to join in. So if you know of any runners wanting to run with someone on a Saturday morning, send them our way!


Our next Social Saturday run will be timed and recorded along our Ranelagh out and back loop, so be prepared and ready to try and beat your last time!



 

Running session details

Tuesday 23/08/22

"Steady/hard Fartlek"

Tuesday and Thursday morning (6:30am): Huonville Recreational Oval

Tuesday and Thursday afternoon (4:30pm): Ranelagh Showgrounds

 

This weeks strength session notes


  • Please bring SWEAT TOWELS and drink bottles. You will take these with you throughout the session.

  • Just remember the sessions are busy and they change regularly, please get to your session on time so Hannah can take everyone through exercise session information.

  • Don't forget to book your session.

  • It looks like we will be adding an extra strength session next week on Monday. Therefore the session times for Monday will be 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm.

  • If you have any new or old injuries that you are carrier, please don't hesitate to let Hannah or Brad know so we can tailor the program to you. It is so important for you to feel supported and cared for at your Run Move Connect sessions.

  • All exercises will be explained in detail with demonstrations provided.

  • Aim to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to sessions starting. This will allow to time to chat with Hannah if required and to ensure we start all sessions on time.

 

Apparel update

Our sweat towels and hats have arrived!! We are desperately hoping our t-shirts arrive today and they can be provided to you at your next sessions. We will putting your apparel packs together today for special delivery.
