29/08/22 - Weekly newsletter for Run Move Connect members!

Hello Members New and Old,

We hope that you have had a beautiful weekend and what glorious weather we have had. I think everyone will agree that the warmer weather gives you a special spring in your step. Few things to update you on which are very close to our heart and special for our Run Move Connect Family.

Gabrielle and Brady Pettit have safely welcomed Charlie Arthur Pettit in to the RMC family. As most of you know, Gabby has attended regular strength and walking/running sessions and has been such an inspiration with her dedication to her health and wellness. We can't wait to have the whole family enjoying our sessions soon and we all are so happy for your growing little family. Look how cute this beautiful little man is.

Congratulations to Alexandra Scott and Joe Harris who won free entry in to the Hobart Airport Marathon Festival for the 10km event. Run Move Connect will be entering a team in this event so please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to join and need further information. Thank you so much to Sally, from the Hobart Marathon team, for these free entries and supporting Run Move Connect in our community.

We are excited to add an extra session on a Monday afternoon, starting this week. Monday session times will be 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm. There are slight changes to instructors for this Monday only, as Hannah is having some special family time as her parents are FINALLY home from a long interstate trip. Bianca will be taking Monday afternoon this week

and Hannah will be taking her Wednesday

6am strength session. Back to normal next week.

We are still looking for another passionate person who is invested in the health and wellbeing of their local community to join us on a casual basis. The successful candidate will be required to oversee strength sessions and running sessions. If you are, or you know of anyone who may be suitable for this position please follow this link -

We can't wait to see you all this week and please let us know if you have any questions or feedback. We are here to make your time at Run Move Connect the best it can be.

**New Timetable image will be shared on socials soon**

Social Saturday recap

What an amazing turn out this week for our 5km Time Trial to Ranelagh. Shauny Wolfe again impressing us with another PB! There were brilliant results from all on Saturday morning. Lovely to see new and old faces to this event and people connecting. This is a perfect way to kick start your weekend and enjoy a leisurely coffee and chat at the inviting Reba Sear cafe. The weather only makes it more and more appealing. Thank you Reba Sear for always taking on the challenging of a million coffees, treats and crazy children with beautiful smiles and calmness.

We understand that Geeveston Park Run is out of action at the moment due to damage to the track, so please don't hesitate to invite those members of the community to come an enjoy a different scenery.
