Message from Run Coach Brad -
Good evening members,
Hannah and I are stoked to announce that over the school holiday break, Run Move Connect will be adding 2 new run/walk sessions throughout the week. The sessions will be from 4:30pm-5:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (12th,14th, 19th and 21st of July). All four sessions will be held at the Ranelagh Show Grounds.
This will be a great opportunity for our members who currently can not attend our existing 6:30am Tuesday/Thursday running sessions due to work, family commitments etc. We would also love to see our members who might be considering taking up running for the first time and are not quite sure about how to start out.
Running can be a daunting activity to start, however, having clear guidance on how to progress or regress the session to suit you and having a positive group of people around you, it will be a lot of fun. Everyone will be moving at their own pace with no pressures in having to run. Walking is fantastic aerobic exercise and will provide similar benefits to running when done consistently.
Strength and cardiovascular running/walking sessions are a fantastic way to boost your overall mental and physical health. We know balancing the two forms of training compliment each other and leave you feeling stronger, fitter and reduce the risk of injury and improve your overall health.
Being the school holidays, we would love to see kids who are keen to come out with mum and dad to join in. The Ranelagh show grounds are nice and quiet in the afternoons and will be a great environment for the whole family to come along and get moving! No extra cost is required for a R.M.C. member to bring family along to these sessions.
If you have any questions or require any extra information please get in contact via our email or socials. We look forward to seeing you there!
