Group Running Sessions

Group Running Sessions

Group running session are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Huonville/Ranelagh area. We use timed based running workouts to cater for all abilities. Whether it's Intervals, fartlek, tempo runs or hill repeats, we use a variety of different workouts to continually stress different systems and keep training interesting!

Strength Classes

Strength Classes

Our strength sessions are circuit based training which have a focus area for the week- strength, bodyweight, multi movement, single limb and eccentric loading. It is a balance of upper body, lower body and trunk exercises. All exercises can be regressed and progressed as you need. We use resistance equipment and body weight to improve body awareness, balance, stability and strength to enhance functional outcomes.

Pilates

Pilates

Pilates is a great form of exercise that creates mindfulness around how our body moves. Pilates focuses on core stability, strength and flexibility whilst paying special attention to muscle control, posture and breathing. Run Move Connect offers Mat Pilates that is gentle, low impact, low intensity and friendly to all physical capabilities.

Social Saturday

Social Saturday

A free organised run/walk for not only our RMC members, but the wider community! A 5km route is mapped out starting from The Reba Sear cafe. Come and join us every Saturday morning at 8am for a run, walk or anything in between!

Recovery Sessions

Recovery Sessions

Recovery sessions involve stretching and mobility exercise at low intensity, leaving the body and mind feeling relaxed and calm. We encourage our recovery sessions to enhance function and flexibility for everyday living.

Cardio

Cardio

Our low-impact cardio sessions are moderate to high intensity exercise that can be adapted to meet your health and fitness goals and physical capabilities. It is low impact and therefore there are no jumping or high joint loaded exercises. Cardiovascular interval exercise improves fitness through maintaining heart rate elevated for a prolonged period of time.
