Festival of Movement & Awareness
RMC Dark FOMA is a free mid-winter gathering to celebrate movement, connection, and community. Whether you’re keen to stay for the whole day or just pop in for something that interests you - (mini exercise activation, educational talks, or a warm bite to eat), you’re welcome any time. This mid-winter gathering is all about moving, connecting, and embracing the season together in whatever way suits you best.
EVENT OVERVIEW:
🗓 Sunday 20th July 2025
🏃 FREE social run: 5km, 10km, or a 10km team relay (5 x 2km legs). Run solo or bring your crew and take on the relay together.
🕧 Run starts at 12:30pm sharp- please arrive by 12pm to sign in

Dark FOMA Running Events:
Missing race day vibes in the middle of Tassie winter? Join us for RMC Dark FOMA, a FREE social running event with a 5km, 10km, or 10km relay option (5 x 2km legs). Grab your mates and build a team of 2–5 people for the relay, or go for it solo.
It’s low-key, fun, and all about bringing people together during the coldest part of the year. Perfect chance to get moving, have a laugh, and fill that winter running event gap. Everyone needs to enter individually, even if you're part of a team.
The running event will start at 12:30pm sharp. Please aim to arrive at least 30 mins before to sign in and prepare yourself!



MINI EXERCISE ACTIVATIONS
Neck & Shoulder Release Session with RMC Pilates Instructor, Dayna!

Take a moment to pause and unwind in this gentle, feel-good session designed to melt away any tension from your shoulders and neck. This slow, Pilates-inspired Dark FOMA session focuses on nurturing stretches for the upper body. You’ll leave feeling more spacious, calmer, and connected.
If you can, please bring a small, firm towel (like a rolled-up bath mat) to support you during the session.
Mini Enduro Session with RMC instructor - Jas!

The aim of this mini enduro session is to increase the heart rate via a muscular endurance approach, building the intensity and challenge with layered movement patterns. Participants can choose to prioritise either Pilates-style form or cardio pace, making it adaptable to individual needs. The circuit involves 5 pods with 5 minutes on each. This is sure to be a fun, inclusive way we can all move together!
