Tia Duggan
Strength Coach

I am a Huon Valley local.
Having spent the last 4 years working as a Veterinary Nurse I have just moved onto pursuing a career in the fitness industry.
I have recently completed my Certificate III in group gym instructing and I am progressing onto my Certificate IV in Personal Training.
I have always had a love for the health and fitness industry. I believe it is so important to have good health and wellbeing as it contributes to our happiness and quality of life. I am a strong believer in that anyone can do fitness no matter your age, gender or fitness level and I have always wanted to be that person that can help motivate and support people into starting their health and fitness journey. Movement is so good for our mind and for our bodies and everyone deserves the opportunity to feel it - I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work at Run Move Connect that promotes exactly this principle.
My favourite types of fitness training are strength, HIIT and Pilates. I have also previously been a part of competitive netball and football over the years, and loved every part of it!
In my spare time you’ll find me tackling some of Tasmania’s beautiful and remote bush hiking trails. I also love to go adventuring with my partner Sam and our little Beagle, June. I love to cook, horse ride, garden and spend time with my wonderful family and friends.”
