Hello to members new and old,
We have had a fantastic week and have been thrilled with the feedback around the addition of the recovery session.
We have some sad news, Bianca is no longer taking a structured strength block at Run Move Connect. Bianca, in her true fashion, has taken on so much this year and it is important that she finds the right balance with work, uni, netball and life. We are so thankful for the impact and support Bianca has shown Brad and Hannah and the whole RMC community. We are very lucky as Bianca will still be involved, so you might see a cameo instructing block. You're a legend B and we are very grateful for you!
Annie will be taking over Friday Strength Session from March 10th.
What a fantastic day at the Run the Bridge event with many Run Move Connect members stepping out of their comfort zones and believing in themselves to complete the gruelling race. We loved seeing families involved in the event and having a great debrief at the Salty Dog.
Please see below information from last weeks newsletter about new feedback forms, RMC terms and conditions, membership price increases and reminder about Youth Memberships.
Welcome Baby Wooley

Welcome Daisy Florence Wooley to the RMC community.
Congratulations to RMC member, Grace Hardy, and Cam and Leni on the safe arrival of your perfect addition. We are so proud of Grace with her dedication to her health through her pregnancy and can't wait to have the girl gang join our classes soon. We know Leni will be the best big sister. These photos are cutest!

Membership Price Adjustment
Our aim at Run Move Connect is to maintain membership affordability and we are very proud to offer fantastic services to our members without having a big financial impact.
Due to an increase in overheads and additional classes being added to our timetable, we will be having a blanket $5 and $20 increase on weekly and monthly memberships respectively, excluding Youth memberships. 10-pack passes will be increased by $20 per purchase.
This membership price change will take effect and align with the updated Terms and Conditions on Monday the 3rd of April.
Please do not hesitate to contact, via email, if you have concerns around this.
Run Move Connect Terms and Conditions
With the increase in membership numbers comes an increase in administration and management of member's subscriptions. We have been working in the background to develop Terms and Conditions to maintain transparency amongst our members and avoid conflicting information with regards to membership cancellation, expectations of members and booking policies.
48-hour Grace Period
We have now introduced a 48 hour grace period for members that have insufficient funds in their nominated account when weekly/monthly payments are due. This will allow members to retain their current membership rather than an automatic membership cancelation due to insufficient funds. We understand how frustrating it is when memberships cancel due to insufficient funds, with no prior notice.
Membership Cancellation Policy
As you may be aware, we have had a 4-week cancellation policy from the beginning however due to the way the website works with allowing user cancellation, we have not been able to enforce this effectively. With the increase in membership numbers we require the ability to manage subscriptions to ensure we have adequate class sessions, instructor availabilities and continue to provide brilliant services for our members. RMC have now created a cancelation form members can access through your members portal once logged in.
Class Cancellation
With specific class times getting popular and in high demand, we need to reiterate the importance of cancelling your spot before an hour of the class starting. This will allow for members on waiting lists to jump in to the class and be ready to go. Those who are on waiting lists, please ensure you look at your emails to secure your spot when someone does cancel.
Please do not hesitate to contact if have any concerns regarding this.
Youth Engagement Program
With school/team sport starting up throughout the valley, is it a great opportunity to get your children involved in structured strength exercise to learn about their body, load management and for injury prevention.

Brad and Hannah are very passionate about getting the whole community moving and this includes our Huon Valley youth. Run Move Connect are proud to announce a Youth Engagement program which provides youths in our community a 6-week all-inclusive pass to RMC sessions. This program is tailored for 10-18 year olds who are interested in getting active within our community.
"This program will provide these young people with an opportunity to better understand the benefits of exercise and fitness training on their overall health and wellbeing. The project will be aimed at young people who are not currently engaged with a community group that promotes a healthy lifestyle and will promote the benefits of being part of such"
At the conclusion of this 6-week program a "youth membership" option is available. Priced at $15 a week, we hope to see our youth engagement graduates continue to run and get strong within our community.
If you know of any young member of our community that this may interest, please do not hesitate to email Brad or Hannah at hello@runmoveconnect.com.au

Run the Bridge recap

A huge congratulations to all of our RMC members who participated in Hobarts "Run The Bridge" fun run on Sunday. RMC was well represented with some fantastic individual results in the 10km and 5km events. Above all, it was so pleasing to see RMC participating, cheering and celebrating as a huge TEAM!

One of the hardest things I have experienced with running was the battle of doing things on your own without a consistent support network around. Never underestimate the power of what training/participating with a group can provide and how much enjoyment you get from not only your own running experience, but seeing others succeed and the enjoyment we all get from that!

If you would like to view RMC's results click here and search Run Move Connect in the team/club tab.
