At Run Move Connect, we understand that exercise environments can often feel overwhelming, especially for individuals who are more sensitive to sensory input. Whether you’re managing sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or simply prefer a quieter exercise setting, these sessions promote connection, confidence, and wellbeing — without the overwhelm. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to move, feel strong, and thrive in an environment that respects their unique needs.
In these sessions, we reduce noise and external distractions to help participants focus on movement and body awareness. The atmosphere is intentionally slower-paced and nurturing, with smaller group sizes to ensure personal space and individual support. Exercise labels offer simple cueing, exercise photos and clear writing. Demonstrations are direct and concise that support individual's learning. There are increased rest periods between sets to allow members to set up and not feel rushed.
We’re committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.
We ask all members to please be mindful and respectful of this time and space. During these sessions, the environment is intentionally kept quiet and gentle. To support the experience of those participating, we kindly ask:
Keep noise and conversation to a minimum around the studio.
Be understanding if the class requires a little extra privacy or quiet time before and after sessions.
Recognise that everyone’s comfort level with stimulation is different — what feels calm to one person may feel overwhelming to another.
By showing respect and awareness, we help make Run Move Connect a place where everyone feels safe, included, and supported to move at their own pace. Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming environment for all. We are very open to feedback and want to ensure these sessions are meeting the needs of our members.
Please book via our booking portal.

Generational movement
This is so precious to see Ava and her Mum, Louella and Nan, Robyn exercising together. We will adapt exercises to suit your body, your goals and how you feel on the day. We are all so different and this is what we love about RMC- move your body the way you want.
Week starting: 03.11.2025
Strength Class Focus: Overload
This week is all about muscular endurance and developing the ability to sustain effort for a prolonged and repeated period of time.
When we start to fatigue, we will notice compensatory movement patterns which increases our risk of injury and we develop poor movement patterns. Withstand the temptation to lose that pelvic control, shoulder setting and alignment of your body to "just do the movement".
This can be a complete mindset shift and really working on your awareness of exercise and how your body responsed under fatigue.
We are going inward this week and learning about your strong and resilient bodies.

Pictured in Nepal are our incredible 7:15am crew, Maree and Pam. This is how strength and stability turns in to function. BAM!!!!!!
Week starting: 10.11.2025
Strength Class Focus: Bodyweight
This week aligns with our Strength Room being revamped with a fresh lick of paint and sanded boards. This is a perfect opportunity with the amazing weather to get our room looking shmick!
All sessions will be in the Pilates Studio.
Learning about your body is the best! We want to shift your mindset around the feeling of weakness and poor stability. We all have areas that require a little more attention for strength and control and we are so lucky we get to work on this.
We will use bands and sliders to create that instability and allow your body to react. It can be as comfortable or as difficult as you like and the best thing is, we get to do this session together and alongside the instructor.
Social Saturday
Thinking about attending Social Saturday?

Our Social Saturday morning are for walkers, runners, furry friends and whoever wants to kick start their weekend with movement, coffee and great company.
We begin our loop from Reba Sear at 8am every Saturday. Choose a 5km loop or simply have a nice trot around Huonville. Return back to Reba Sear for a hot drink, something to eat or head off to start your weekend.
